Hey dudes! I'm back to update before I move over to my new apartment in Mosbach. I dunno how the apartment will be like. I dun wanna expect too much. At least, I have internet access there! :D That makes me happy for awhile. Haha. I'll take a few pictures of my new apartment and room.

Thurs, we went for excursion to Schwetzingen, another castle in germany. I think Heidelberg is much more nicer than Schwetzingen because it is famous for its garden, yet we are in winter, there was no flowers. That explains why it isn't as pretty as the germans describe.

Weather in Germany is going up and down now. The snow on the grass has melted as the temperature now is getting warmer. I can see rabbits hopping around outside my hostel. Haha! It's so cute. Hmm.. I'm waiting for spring! So that I dun have wear thick coats. I've taken a picture of Mannheim Uni with and without snows on the floor. It's a big contrast! Haha.

I've received some informations about my timetable in Mosbach. There's orientation next week and lessons officially starts on next Fri. We will be taking 8 modules in total including HR, Organisation, Negotiation, IT, International Finance, International Marketing, Economics and International Law. It's alot compared to NYP. But, their studying system is finish 1 module by 1 module. Meaning we study HR for the whole week and they give you another week to study and you'll be tested in the following week. They dun teach all the modules tgt like what we did in NYP. I think we can focus better this way. That's why Singaporeans that come here for study will find it more relaxing, not that stress as compared.

Chinese New Year is coming real soon! It's another 2 days. Tmr will be the eve of CNY. My family will be having Reunion dinner outside and when they come back after dinner, I'll skype with them. Hees. Dear, dun worry, I've booked a time for you to skype with me too! Haha. Over here in Germany, we also have a CNY party with the other internationals. Although it'll be more like a party than CNY but at least we get to celebrate. (: Before CNY is over, let me wish everyone, esp Dear and my family 恭喜发财，事事顺利！This trip to Germany I really missed out alot of occasions. ):

Hey guys! :D I'm back to update on my blog! Hah. We went for an excursion trip to Heidelberg ytd. It was really pretty! Just like the scenery that appears in fairytales? It's damn nice! You shld go click on myphotoalbum to look at it. It's really GORGEOUS!

Our German class!

German lesson is getting bored each time as our teacher is teaching grammars which was really difficult to rmb. Whatever it is, today we had our 2nd half of our lesson at Mannheim castle (our school's castle). Only 1 of the rooms is not destroyed and left behind. The rest were rebuilt. It was cool. I din go into their history tho.

Oh ya, Wed it snowed! How I wish Dear was there with me! The snow wasn't as pretty as I first saw at Korea. It wasn't snowflakes. More to Ice Kachangs. Haha! It's still pretty anyway, so it's okay. Haha. Took lots of pictures. Have yet to take them from Zhiyin. Shall take it from her later.

That Wed night, we tried to cook our local dishes for our international friends. With the limited ingredients we found in their supermarket, we cooked instant Mee Goreng, instant Curry noodles, hard-boiled eggs and baked honey chicken wings. I guess they quite like them. Haha. It's quite sad that we couldn't really cook our local dishes due to the ingredients. Hmm.. Hopefully they enjoyed it. We took a picture with them in the kitchen too.

Life's still okay over here. Facilities are not bad. I'm adapting better each day. The weather is still as dry. I cant help but my throat and nose feel so dry every morning. And, I'm actually having a sore throat right now! Eww. It sucks! I'm like coughing non-stop now. Shits. It hurts. I think I got a slight fever just now. My body felt warm with my windows opened. But, I'm okay now. Dear wanted me to see the doctor. Well, the Doc here is really exp. I think I'll pop in some medicine and I shld be alright. Dun worry okay, my dearest! (: I'll be alright! *winks*

I've been on webcam with Dear almost every night. Dear and I were like saying "We're lucky that webcam exist! If not, what are we going to do?" Then we wont be able to see each other for like 4 months! When Dear is fetching me back from the airport, he will be shocked to see a double-sized me! Haha! Of cos I dun want that to happen! :P

I'm trying to cut down the intake and expenditure as well. But, I guess I failed. I'm like spending alot on food? Nah! That's shouldn't be the way. On diet next week! hmm..

Mannheim (Germany)

Sorry for the late post. Hah. I guess everyone's looking forward to my photos. Well, I'm uploading them up on myphotoalbum instead of blogging out the photos since it will take like years to do so. Anyway, I've chatted with a few of my friends, family and of cos my dearest! I guess you all shld know it's really COLD here, and I mean REAL COLD. I think I shouldn't mention much on the negative-degrees-Celsius temperature here. Just look at the pictures below:

I was really tired the past few days because of jet lag. Thus, I din have the energy to blog too. We have been familiarising the surroundings and adapting to independent life over here in Mannheim. We were given a room for each person. At first, I was afraid to slp alone in the hostel itself as their corridor were really dark w/o switching on the automatic light that will turn off itself after awhile. So, I slept 2 nights at Zhiyin's room. Until, we got our internet done with the internet cable and some lan settings, I moved back to my room. At least I have the privacy to Skype-d with Dear and family now. I miss them badly. I miss every single thing back in Singapore. I miss my friends, my comfy bed, the familiar surrounding in Singapore. The thought of going back to Singapore immediately did struck my mind. I miss Dear so much! He send sms to me whenever he's missing me. Every sms he sent me always makes me happy. It makes my day. I really miss him so much. ): At least now we can skype but sometimes it's so lag.

We made a few international students who come from all over the world. The ones I remembered are US, UK, Taiwan, Finland, Africa and Korea. Most of them are from US and when we talked to them, we had to follow their slangs too. Not only English must slang, Chinese also needed slang. Cos we need to use proper Chinese to talk to the Taiwanese. Hah. How funny. We're in the middle. The lessons are supposed to start today but they gave us a welcome presentation instead and a small test for those who know basic German. That is for separating classes. For us, we din know any German, we're released early today. We window-shopped ard the city again then went to Ikea with the sch. Bought a few utensils for our hostel. They did not provide us any. While rushing the bus that comes every half an hour, I slipped and fell. Buttocks hurt so much. ): Luckily I was on my backpack, if not my head would have hit the road. But, at least I got back on time to skype with dear. I miss him. Sigh.

I guess this should be the last post that I'll be blogging in Singapore. I'm afraid I'll be busy going out with family and friends the next 2 days. Clock past 12, means I'm left with 1 day plus in Singapore. A bit of excitement, a bit of joy, a bit of worried and a lot of misses! It feels weird.

Btw, checklist is really irritating. Too much to bring and I havent got all dumped in the luggage yet. Because I'm bringing out these things the past few days. I need a full 2 hrs to pack everything in. Hmm. Wed is the day.

Dear, please take care of yourself wherever you go. Dun worry about me, I'll update you my whereabouts. Keep yourself occupied with work. But, not too busy pls. Dun overwork yourself. Have your 3 meals. Go out with your friends if there are activities. Dun be home all day. You'll feel lethargic and listless whole day. Be safe and I'll be safe in Germany too. 23rd April, I'll see you back in the airport waiting for me! (:

A year has passed just like that and we are looking forward to Year 2009. Have you all done anything meaningful this year? Or simply wasting your time with your same old routine everyday? Hmm.. Whenever festive seasons come, esp Christmas and New Year, I always feel that the previous has only took place ytd. If you know what I mean. Anyway, I've changed my skin, not because it's a new year but the previous skin's designer has exceeded her bandwidth and I did not save the picture. So.. ya.

My 2008 resolution:
-Much better GPA for this Sem
-Improve on my dance
-No 'big quarrels' between me and dear! ):
-Stay HAPPY! :D
-Slim down

Looking back at my 2008 resolutions, I failed to fulfil 2 of them. Boo. ): Yup, my GPA indeed got better in 2008. Dear and I still quarrel but not those serious kind. But, which couples dun quarrel? Haha. Quarrels just make us understand each other better. (: Of course, I'm still a happy bird with Dear's dote, family's love and friends' company!

I shall not post my 2009 resolution. Shall keep it with me. Hopefully it's not a disappointment this time. I'll make sure every single one are fulfilled. Heh. Btw,

6 days left to Germany. Air Tickets bought.
The feelings was immediate. Ytd, I was still on the phone with Zhi Yin. We were there saying "Why dun we feel the sense of urgency that we're going to Germany, although we are only left with a few days in Singapore?". I think maybe air tickets was one problem. Another, it's today that I really started packing my luggage and that I realised time wasn't enough. Next wed is my departure date. I can really feel it. Maybe because it's the start of year 2009. Dear told me the same thing. He was afraid. I am too. In my heart. I fear the unfamiliar place that I'm going. I fear the surrounding. I fear the loneliness. I fear that I wasn't prepared to go at all. I fear things don't go my way. I fear of every single thing. But, what I can only do is to face the fact that I'm leaving my comfort zone, to be independent and solve problems myself. I'm learning things from scratch. Dear, let me learn. I'll show you the independent side of me. I can take care of myself and I will, for you. I'll keep you updated with all my activities. Dun worry about me and take care of yourself. I'll be back soon! You will see me back in Airport when you come and fetch me. Hopefully, by then I'm not growing rounder. Haha.
